Create your first private course

Create a course in the Admin Panel when you are ready to build its lessons and sales page. The creation flow leaves the course Private. You can prepare it before making it available to visitors.

Before you start

Prepare a meaningful course name and short description, choose its difficulty, and decide whether its starting automatic Offer should be free or paid in your platform currency. A course image and placement in an existing learning path are optional.

Create the course

1. Open Courses & Learning Paths in the Admin Panel and choose Create new → Course.
2. Enter Course name and Short description under Course Details.
3. Select a Difficulty.
4. Under Course Price, choose the free or paid starting price. This creates the course’s automatic Offer; the course remains private.
5. Optionally add a Course Image. If a learning path is available, choose whether to add the course to it. You can leave the course outside a learning path.
6. Complete the wizard and open the new course’s General page.

The wizard preview uses sample duration, rating, and benefits. Review your own content after creation. The final button may say Save and publish, but the new course remains Private.

Check the result

Find the course in Courses & Learning Paths and check its Private status, details, learning-path placement, and automatic Offer. Review generated benefits and FAQs before making them public. Build modules, lessons, instructor profiles, and sales content separately. If submission fails or its result is unclear, check the course catalog before trying again. A private course may already exist with some starting values. Open and complete that course instead of creating a duplicate. If you cannot tell what was saved, contact Creatora. Next, build the curriculum, configure the automatic Offer, and prepare the sales content before changing the course status.
