Before selling a course, prepare the page used to present it and the offer used to purchase it. The sales page presents the course to visitors, while the offer defines what they can purchase and at what price. When the page and offer are ready, you can make purchasing available and check the path through to checkout.

Prepare the sales page

In the Admin Panel, go to Products > Course catalog, open the course, and select Sales page. Here you can configure the content used to present the course to visitors. Under Sales Page, you can create and organize the blocks that make up the page. You can create new blocks or use Connect existing to link a block already used on another page. If you edit a linked block, the change applies everywhere it is used. Under Customize sales card, you can edit the title, message, and button shown for purchasing the course or joining the waitlist. You can also use the message for important course information, such as a current or upcoming promotion. Under Benefits list, you can highlight the course’s main benefits and the skills students can gain. Under Frequently asked questions (FAQ), you can answer questions visitors may have before purchasing or joining the waitlist. Under Instructors, you can present one or more people who teach the course so visitors know who will guide them through the learning experience.

Present a course that is still being prepared

You can start selling a course even if some or all lessons have not yet been published. Under Advanced > Lesson previews, choose how content is shown in the course curriculum:
  • Image shows a preview image;
  • Icon shows only the content-type icon.
If you are still preparing the course and do not have an image for every lesson, choose Icon to show the curriculum without preview images.

Set the course price

Open Price and offers inside the course. When you create a course, Creatora automatically creates a base offer for selling it on its own. Under Course price, you can set the price of this offer. Open Offer name and description if you also want to customize this information. The name and description are shown in the card used to present the offer to visitors.

Create alternative offers

To offer the course under terms different from the standard price, create additional offers under Course offers. For example, you can use them for a promotion, an offer with multiple items, or to include one or more course levels. For more about offers and coupons, see Manage prices, offers, and coupons.

Make the course purchasable

When you are ready to open sales, set the course to Public. It becomes visible on the platform and, if the sales setup is complete, can be purchased. If the course belongs to a learning path, also check the learning path status. If the learning path is Archived, the course will not be visible on the platform even if it is Public. If you want to present the course before opening sales, set it to Waitlist. The course remains visible, but visitors cannot purchase it yet and can join the waitlist. Check before sharing

Open the course sales page and select View as guest. Check that the page presents the course correctly, then follow the purchase button through to checkout and verify that the offer and price shown are the ones you want to present.
