Levels let you create different versions of the same course without duplicating it. For example, you can have a Basic offer that gives access to the first 5 modules and a Plus offer that adds 2 more advanced modules. To do this, leave the first 5 modules without a level, create a Plus level, and assign the 2 advanced modules to it. The basic offer gives access to the course without levels, while the Plus offer includes the course with the Plus level.

Create a level

In the Admin Panel, go to Products > Courses, open the course, and select Levels > Add level. Create the level and choose which modules it should unlock. A module can belong to more than one level, while modules without a level remain accessible to all students who have access to the course.
When you assign a module to a level, that module is no longer accessible to all students. Only students with access to at least one of the levels associated with it will see it.

Give access to a level

Creating a level does not automatically give students access. To sell it, create an offer that includes the course with the level you want. In the previous example, the Plus offer includes the course with the Plus level, while the basic offer includes the course without levels. You can also give access to a level manually or via API. For a module associated with a level to be visible to students who have access to that level, the module must also be published.

Change levels

Changes to levels also apply to students who already have access to the course. If you assign a module to a level when it was previously available to everyone, students who do not have that level will no longer see the module in the course curriculum. Their completion percentage will also be recalculated based on the content they can access. Similarly, adding or removing modules from a level changes the curriculum available to students who already have that level. Before changing a level that is already in use, check which modules and offers are associated with it.
