# Verify what happened

> Find the right place to check a change before relying on it or trying again.

After a change, check the thing you meant to change. The relevant task guide names the page, account, or public view to use.

| If you changed…         | Check…                                                                                                                           |
| ----------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A course or public page | The saved course in **Courses & Learning Paths**, or the page in [guest view](/en/get-started/verify-public-pages-as-a-visitor). |
| Student access          | The Student's current course access and the content they can open.                                                               |
| An integration          | The intended record in Creatora and in the external provider account.                                                            |
| A paid purchase         | The [Creatora order, Stripe payment, and Student access](/en/orders/verify-and-troubleshoot-an-order).                           |

If a payment, access change, deletion, or provider action still has an unclear result, [record what you observed safely](/en/understand-creatora/record-what-happened-safely) and follow the task guide before repeating it. The first attempt may already have changed something.
