# Manage prices, offers, and coupons

> Configure offers, prices, custom items, and coupons to sell your courses and services.

An offer defines what a person can purchase and at what price.

When you create a course, Creatora automatically creates a base offer for selling it on its own. You can also create other offers for different combinations of courses, services, and other items.

## Create and manage an offer

In the Admin Panel menu, go to **Sales > Offers** to see all created offers. From here, you can edit an existing offer or create a new one.

You can also create an offer directly from the **Sales** menu by selecting **New offer**.

An offer can contain:

* **Courses**, including any [levels](/en/courses-and-learning/use-course-levels) you want to grant access to;
* [**Services**](/en/sell-and-launch/create-and-present-a-service) created in Creatora;
* **Custom items**, for content or benefits other than courses and services.

For example, you can create an offer that includes a course with an advanced level, a consultation, and an ebook.

## Add custom items

Custom items let you include content or benefits other than courses and services created in Creatora.

For each item, enter a name and choose how to provide the information needed to use it:

* **Instructions**: enter the instructions the person should follow;
* **Link**: enter the link to use directly.

For example, to include an ebook, you can create a custom item and enter its download link. If you also need to add an explanation, choose **Instructions** and include the necessary directions together with the link.

## Set the price

Open the offer and, under **Offer management**, go to **Pricing**.

You can choose:

* **Full price**, to sell the offer at its standard price;
* **Discounted**, to show a **Starting price** together with the **Selling price**;
* **Free**, to make the offer available without payment.

Paid offers are **one-time** purchases, with no automatic renewals. To sell course access as a subscription, you can use an external system connected to Creatora through the API.

## Choose where to show the offer

Creating an offer does not automatically display it on the sales pages of the courses it contains.

Under **Offer management**, go to **Course pages** and choose which included courses' sales pages should show the offer.

When you create a new offer, Creatora first asks which courses to include and then on which of their sales pages to show it.

  You can also choose not to show the offer on any sales page. It remains available through its direct link, which is useful for offers intended for specific cases.

For example, you can create a **Welcome gift** offer for people who [complete account setup](/en/students-and-orders/from-purchase-to-first-access) and share its link directly. The offer name is also shown at checkout.

## Create a coupon

A coupon applies a discount to an offer's price.

In the Admin Panel, go to **Sales > Coupon**. Here you can see all created coupons and whether they are **Active**, **Draft**, or **Expired**. Select **New coupon** to create one.

Enter the **Code** used at checkout and choose the discount type:

* **Fixed**, for a fixed-amount discount;
* **Percentage**, for a percentage discount.

To limit how many times the code can be used, enable **Limit coupon** and set the maximum number of uses.

You can also enable **Expiration date** to set how long the coupon can be used.

Under **Visibility**, choose **Public** when you want the coupon to be usable, or **Draft** until it is ready.

## Choose which products the coupon applies to

Under **Included products**, choose where the coupon can be used:

* **Global**: the coupon applies to any course and any offer;
* **Selected**: choose the courses and offers it applies to.

With **Selected**, choosing a course applies the coupon to its base offer. Choosing an offer applies it to that specific offer.

You can combine the two. For example, you can apply the same coupon to a course's base offer and another offer you created.

The coupon applies to the price of the entire offer, not to individual items inside it. If an offer includes a course and a consultation, for example, the discount is applied to the offer price that includes both.

Before sharing the code, open the checkout for an offer it applies to and check that the discount and total are as expected.

## Check coupon usage

Open a coupon to see completed orders where it was used, including order status, value, and date.

If you delete a coupon, its usage data in already completed orders is retained and remains available for analysis.
