# Create and present a service

> Present a service, choose how to receive inquiries, and include it in an offer to sell it.

Services let you present consulting, coaching, and other professional activities on the platform and generate interest.

From a service page, a person can request information or be directed to an external page, but cannot purchase the service directly. To sell a service on Creatora, you can include it in an offer.

## Create a service

In the Admin Panel, open **Products > Services**.

From here, you can open the **Services catalog**, edit the **Services page**, or select **New service** to create one.

The catalog contains all created services, with information about their price and status.

Open a service and, under **General**, enter **Name** and **Description**. This information is used to present the service on the platform.

## Set the service price

Under **General > Sales model**, choose how to present the service price:

* **For a fee**, to show a price;
* **Free**, to present the service without a price;
* **Request a quote**, if the price is defined after collecting the person's requirements.

You can also specify the price **Unit of measurement**, for example “for one or more people,” and add any **Price notes**.

This information presents the service and its price. It does not allow the service to be purchased directly from its page.

## Choose how to receive requests

Under **General > Contact method**, choose what happens when someone is interested in the service.

    Received requests are available under **Requests** within the service. Here you can see requests still to be handled and the history of those already handled or completed.

    You can direct the person to an external page to continue the contact, for example a tool for scheduling appointments or collecting information.

    In this case, the person's action does not create a request under **Requests** in Creatora.

## Sell a service with an offer

To let someone purchase a service, include it in an offer with other items or sell it through a dedicated offer.

For example, you can create an offer that includes a course and a **Code review** service. When someone purchases the offer, they purchase both.

  Purchasing an offer that contains a service does not automatically start service delivery. After the purchase, you will need to contact the person and tell them how to proceed, for example to collect the necessary information or arrange an appointment.

## Prepare the service page

Under **Sales Page**, you can explain in more detail what you offer and how the service works.

You can customize the process explanation by showing the steps that take the person from the request to the start of the service. You can also add and organize page content, include **Frequently asked questions (FAQ)**, and specify who provides the service.

Use this page to give people the information they need to understand whether the service suits their needs before contacting you.

## Choose who can see the service

Under **General > Status**, choose the service visibility:

* **Public**: the service is visible on the platform and can receive requests;
* **Unlisted**: the service is not shown publicly, but anyone with the link can access it and submit a request;
* **Archived**: the service remains available in the Admin Panel but is not visible or available to people.

For example, use **Unlisted** when you want to share a service only with specific people without showing it alongside your other services.

## Customize the page with all services

Creatora collects published services on a dedicated platform page.

In the Admin Panel, go to **Products > Services > Services page**. From here, you can customize the title and introductory text shown before the list of services.

Select **View in platform** to check how the page is presented to people.

## Check the flow

Before sharing a service, open it and select **View in Platform**.

Check that the description, price or **Request a quote** label, and sales page match what you want to offer.

Also check the next step: if you chose **Direct contact**, test the request form; if you chose **Destination link**, make sure the button leads to the intended destination.

If the service is included in an offer, also check the offer and make sure you know how to contact buyers to arrange the next steps.
