# Customize the platform

> Customize your platform brand, home page, and navigation.

In the Admin Panel menu, **Platform** contains the settings for customizing your brand, home page, and platform navigation.

## Brand

Go to **Platform > Brand** to set the platform name and, if needed, replace the favicon and the logos for light and dark backgrounds.

The favicon is the small image that identifies the platform in the browser tab.

The Admin Panel recommends these dimensions and formats:

| Favicon | **512 × 512 px**; PNG, WebP, or ICO |
| Logo for light backgrounds | **512 px** high; PNG or WebP |
| Logo for dark backgrounds | **512 px** high; PNG or WebP |

The name, favicon, and logos are saved separately. Saved changes apply to the platform immediately; if you change the name, remember to update the logos too if they are different.

## Home

Go to **Platform > Home** to edit the title, description, and cover image of the home page.

A **page block** is a piece of content such as text, an image, or a video. You can combine multiple blocks to build your home page.

If you choose **Connect existing**, you link a block already used on another page. When you edit a linked block, the change appears everywhere it is used.

Save your changes in the editor before checking the result on the platform. The editor preview can show unsaved changes, while the platform shows what you have saved.

## Navigation bar

Go to **Platform > Navigation bar** to manage the navigation items shown on the platform.

The **Courses** item becomes available when you have at least [one published learning path](/en/courses-and-learning/organize-courses-in-a-learning-path#publish-a-learning-path); from here you can choose whether to show it in the navigation bar. If you have multiple public courses but no learning path, **Courses** does not appear and the courses are shown on the home page.

## Footer

Go to **Platform > Footer** to choose how links are shown in the footer, add a disclaimer, and enter company information.

## Language and time

Go to **Platform > Language and time** to change the interface language and the platform time zone.

The selected language changes Creatora's interface text, but does not translate content you wrote.

The time zone affects how some times are displayed or interpreted. After changing it, recheck any content with a deadline.

## Check the result

After customizing the platform, open it and select [**View as guest**](/en/prepare-the-platform/navigate-creatora#how-to-view-the-platform-as-a-guest) to see what a person who is not signed in sees.

Check that the logo, home page content, and links appear as expected. Also check navigation on a smartphone.
