# Migrate to Creatora

> Learn what can be transferred and how to agree on and review migration with the Creatora team.

If you have decided to move your business to Creatora, migration is free and handled directly by the Creatora team.

## What can be migrated

Migration can include student accounts and course access, student progress, courses, lessons, videos, files, services, presentation pages, orders, offers, and coupons. [Moving your domain](/en/prepare-the-platform/use-your-own-domain) and connecting [external integrations](/en/platform/integrations) can also be part of the agreed work.

Together, we will assess which items to transfer and which need to be adapted or recreated in Creatora.

Analytics, user login history, Community content, custom scripts, and passwords are not transferred. Students will access Creatora through its [email and PIN login system](/en/prepare-the-platform/access-creatora), without using any password from the previous platform.

## How migration works

1. **We agree on the scope.** You tell us the source platform, the relevant courses, and the items that are still in use.
2. **You provide the agreed access or files.** Depending on the source platform, we may obtain some data through APIs or ask you for exports and materials. We will tell you step by step what to provide.
3. **Creatora rebuilds and connects.** We adapt the data to Creatora's structure, upload the agreed content, and prepare access.

## Check the migration

Before directing students to the new platform, we check the courses and materials, a sample of students and their access, and the checkout together.

We will then decide when to stop updating the old platform and when to start using Creatora links or domain.
